Bitter Sweet Symphony
Richard Ashcroft, song writer and lead singer for the British rock band "The Verve" penned one of the most memorable songs in rock history. He fought for the rights to it for twenty-two years and finally won. He said in a way "it felt life-affirming." The lyrics to his song were sadly mimicked in the two decade long battle for his song. He hauntingly asks in the chorus, "have you ever been down?" This podcast fits under the heading "Other Things." My hope is that it inspires you to keep on pursuing your dreams and your artistic creativity! God will push through the things he wants to flourish in spite of the garbage the world throws at you!
