Charles Spurgeon wrote a profound statement in his evening devotion for May 7th: "We would not wish to enter heaven till our work is done, and it may be that we are yet ordained to minister light to souls benighted in the wilderness of sin." That word "benighted" sparked my curiosity. It is a power-packed Old-English word that paints a haunting image in you soul. I pray that this podcast moves you to action to in being a light bearer of Jesus Christ to those who are not just people walking through the dark. These are people who have become part of it.
