Its hard to beiieve that at the time of this podcast broadcast, there is just a couple more weeks until Christmas day. Because this special established day celebrates the greatest event in human history, and opened the door to eternal salvation for those who will receive, it NEVER gets old to reflect on this timeless story in a fresh new way! Its hard to believe its been FORTY YEARS since the iconic song "Do They Know Its Christmas" was released. It motivated me to reflect on that question, and what is the real answer that the world needs to hear. That is how I landed on the miniseries, "Christmas Says..." The God of the universe is still heralding the Christmas message through people like you and me! There is still a humanitarian crisis in the world. It has spread across the continents. The killing is incessant because THEY DON"T KNOW ITS CHRISTMAS. We must leave our comfort zones, and take the message of Christmas to a lost world in 2025. God can bring a year of JUBILEE if we will pray and speak the good news of the Savior of Christmas on an ever increasing basis, with great LOVE snd BOLDNESS! We have been drinking from the firehose of outlandish overt manifestations of evil in ways unseen and unheard of in the history of our great nation. It appears that there is coming a reprieve from the outrageous onslaught of everything foul and offensive to the Christian world view. NEW SUB-SERIES! We (my wife Susan and I) were honored to have Jeromy Deibler visit with us in our 7 Pines Studio. Jeromy is the founder , lead singer, songwriter, producer, of the Christian band FFH (Far from Home). His band has sold millions of albums, including hit songs "One Of These Days", "You Found Me", "Open Up The Sky", "Fly Away", "Lord Move, Or Move Me", & "Undone". The entire back story will be featured in a separate video for those who care to know. It's a really cool testimony about how God orchestrates our lives to bring about His purpose on this planet. But, this video is all about Jeromy Deibler. His willingness to come to our place to talk opened the door to this new concept, "Stories from the Green Chair", that is a derivative of "Other Things with..." If you look closely at the video thumbnail on the YouTube show, or the opening show icon screen you will see the MidCentury Modern Green Chair that sits in the corner of our studio, where this sub-series gets its name. We look forward to hosting other guests in our home studio for conversations that encourage and inspire! So, the YouTube Channel is ‪@otherthingswith...‬ which is a video of a Google Meet session with our guest, and the "Stories from the Green Chair" is an in-person conversation. At the time of recording I had just found out about Jeromy's book "Liver and Onions, A Memoir," so I did not have time to get the book and read up on his detailed story found there. Jeromy is open to have a follow up conversation to talk about the book in detail. Also, we are planning another show to talk about his work in Soul Care. It's easy to let the course of events in a single day weigh down.
